The IOP in-line automatic carrier placement system (called - The Handler) automatically places IOP multipack carriers on bottles and plastic containers, as they go through the customer’s in-line process. The IOP carrier placement systems have a minimum line impact - much less then shrink wrapping - and costs less then other multi packaging methods. The IOP carriers and The Handler actually have the most production flexibility of any multi-pack system, because; they can be put on at any point in the production process after filling. Even after the product has been put in cases! Shrink wrap and belly-bands can only be applied before casing, and there by limiting production flexibility. Since the IOP carriers are placed (or even taken off) while the product is in the shipping case, you gain the greatest inventory flexibility of any multi-packaging system.
